At 14 – 15 – 16 October 2019 the IP Platform Meeting for Nature projects took place  in Brussels (Belgium).

After a first edition in Finland in 2017, all 16 Nature IP Projects came together to exchange experiences and know-how, by the means of interactive workshops, panel discussions and plenary sessions.

Our focus

We’ve exchanged experiences concerning IP management, explored new tracks to implement Natura 2000 and generated interesting output which could be relevant for the LIFE programme of 2021 – 2027 and future SNAPs.

Our themes

  • Share project management experiences
  • Identify recommendations for the new LIFE programme
  • Funding opportunities linked with implementation of Natura 2000
  • Natura 2000 governance
  • Stakeholder engagement: Mutual Gains Approach
  • IP communication
  • Capacity building methodologies
  • Dynamic habitats in the framework of the Nature Directives
